This policy describes how Codelite B.V. (“we”) handles information in the Guess the Diagnose / Raad de diagnose app and website.

Information we collect

Account: email, username, password (stored hashed), language, and game progress.
Gameplay: cases played, questions, examination requests, scores, and purchases of in-game content.
Purchases: processed by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat. We receive product IDs and transaction identifiers, not your full payment card number.
Notifications: a device push token if you enable notifications.
Advertising: Google AdMob may collect device advertising identifiers to show ads unless you have a full unlock.
Support: messages you send to info@codelite.nl.

How we use information

We use this data to run the game, sync progress, process subscriptions and token packs, send optional emergency-case notifications, and improve the product. Patient chat replies are generated by an AI provider solely to play the game; do not enter real medical records or sensitive personal data in chat.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data with service providers only as needed: Apple, Google, RevenueCat (purchases), cloud hosting, push delivery, and the AI provider for in-game patient dialogue.

Retention and deletion

You can delete your account in the app under Settings. That removes your profile and associated game data from our systems, subject to legal record-keeping (for example purchase receipts).

Children

The app is rated 12+. We do not direct the service at children under 13.
